Pamimitas ng Prutas sa New South Wales

Sa New South Wales matatagpuan ang bayan ng Griffith, kung saan may humigit 40,000 na katao ang naninirahan. Ang bayan na ito ay 600 kilometro ang layo mula sa Sydney. Ang Griffith ay sikat dahil sa mainam ang lupain nito para tamnan ng iba’t ibang prutas at gulay na siyang nagiging hanapbuhay ng lokal na mamamayan at mga backpackers mula sa iba’t ibang lugar. Mayroong tulugan at pahingahan ang bukas malapit sa taniman kung kaya’t ang pagta-trabaho dito ay mas kaaya-aya.
Ang bayan ng Griffith ay malapit lamang sa Murrumbidgee River na siyang pangunahing nagpapataba sa mga lupain. Dahil sa ilog na ito nagkaroon ng komersyalismo sa lugar kung saan maraming kainan at distileriya ang nagsipag-usbungan. Ang totoo pa nga niyan ay sa Griffith nagmumula ang 1/5 ng Australian wine, kaya sikat ang bayan na ito dahil sa kanilang ubas at inuming alak.
Ang mga pangunahing gulay at prutas na maaring maani dito ay ang stone fruits, citrus, tomatoes, onions at iba pang mga gulay. Magsisimula ang trabaho sa pag-aani hanggang sa pagkakapon ng mga halaman. Karagadagan, ang ibang lugar sa Griffith ay nakakapag prodyus din ng cereal grains at nagpapastol ng tupa at baka. Bilang pangwakas, masasabi na ang Griffith ay sagana sa algrikultural na aspeto, kung saan maari kang makatagpo ng magagandang oportunidad para makapag trabaho sa Australia at manatili rito ng di bababa sa tatlong bwan.
