Fruit Picking Bourke; this town is located in north western NSW there are three main roads, these are the Kidman Way, Mitchell Highway and Kamilaroi Highway. The main fruit picking jobs are stonefruit and citrus.Agriculture jobs include irrigated wheat, cotton and wool. Bourke provides an ideal gateway for seeing the remote parts of New South Wales and when you finish you can always start backpacking to Sydney.

How do I get there?
Bourke is positioned alongside the Darling River and Mitchell Highway it's 790 kms from Sydney. From Melbourne you will need to travel 1010 kms north, via Hillston. There are buses which go through the town so getting there is easy for backpackers who do not have transport. There is also a small airport which has daily flights.

Back O’ Bourke Exhibition Centre, Aboriginal Arts and Crafts Centre, Mount Gundabooka, historic buildings, Fred Hollows Grave and Memorial, Cotton Gin Tours and Jandra Paddle Boat operation on the Darling River.
